Jean F. Stauffer, 88, of Emmaus, died Jan. 9, 2019, in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township. She was the wife of the late Donald Carson Stauffer Sr., who died in 1981. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Ray George and Verna E. (Reppert) Fenstermaker.
She was a 1948 graduate of William Allen High School.
She worked as a bookkeeper at Pittsburgh Plate Glass and later in the garment industry for Modern Slacks and Greif Company.
She was a member of the Ladies Garment Workers Union, a volunteer at the senior center in Emmaus and an avid league bowler with the Leisure Group.
She was a member of Grace UCC, Allentown.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda J., of Bethlehem; sons, Jeffrey A. and his wife Cathy, of Macungie and Donald C. Jr. and his wife Cindy, of Whitehall; five grandchildren, Bryan Freed, Jason, Jonathan Roberts, Laura and David; six great-grandchildren, Alexander, Makinley, Connor, Katerina, Jameson and Jana; four nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Frederick Fenstermaker; sister, Joan Malone and a granddaughter, Victoria Samuels.
