Schools will be closed Jan. 21 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Don’t forget the Catasauqua Middle School Student Forum food drive runs until Feb. 1.

Students may contribute nonperishable food items to benefit the Catasauqua Community Cares Program and the Catasauqua Community Food Bank. No glass will be accepted.

In case of inclement weather, notifications will be made through the Power Announcement system. Additionally, postings will be made on the website, cattysd.org, or through local television and radio stations.

If school is closed, all extracurricular practices, rehearsals, events and contests are canceled.
