Police made two drunken driving related arrests Jan. 9.

Patrick Martin, 33, of West Union Boulevard in Allentown, was arrested at Main and Fairview streets around 9 a.m.

Police allege he was driving under the highest rate of intoxication.

Around 4:30 that afternoon, officers responded to a hit and run on Schoenersville Road, and learned the alleged offender was Kaneesha Holmes, 29, of Butler Street in Easton.

Police say Holmes is a habitual offender who was driving drunk on a suspended license. She is also charged with careless driving and accident involving property damage.
