There will be school on Jan. 18. Jan. 21 and 22 will be teacher in-service days.

Northwestern Elementary

There will be a Partner In Education meeting 9:30 a.m. Jan. 14 in the cafeteria.

Weisenberg Elementary

PTO Game Night is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Jan. 11 for students and their families.

Games will be provided by Gamewright.

If you like the games, they may be purchased to take home.

A percentage of all sales will be donated to the Weisenberg PTO.

First-graders will present their show “Singing in The Snow” for parents 2 p.m. Jan. 16 in the gym. Snow date is 2 p.m. Jan. 17.

The students have been working together to create the musical using Robert Newbecker’s book “Winter is for Snow.”

The Girls on the Run program is open to fourth- and fifth-grade girls.

They will meet between 3:30-5 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays beginning at the end of March and culminate in a 5K run in June.
