Congratulations to all who participated in Catasauqua Middle School’s Jan. 9 spelling bee!

Cody Kurczeski out-spelled all others to become the winner, with Kalei Hodson as the runner-up.

There will be a PTF meeting 7-8 p.m. Jan. 15 in the library.

The end of the second marking period is Jan. 18. Report cards will be issued Jan. 25.

Schools will be closed Jan. 21 for the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

The CMS Student Forum has organized a food drive to benefit the Catasauqua Community Cares program and the Catasauqua Community Food Bank. The drive runs Jan. 7-Feb. 1.

Students may contribute nonperishable food items. No glass will be accepted.
