Clinton J. Hauser, 80, of Vera Cruz, died Dec. 22, 2018, after a courageous battle with ALS. He was the husband of Sylvia T. (Stepsics) Hauser and celebrated 53 years of marriage this year. Born in Catasauqua, he was a son of the late Clinton E. and Mary (Toth) Hauser.

He was a self-employed contractor for 50 years.

He served his country in the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Clinton Jr., of Emmaus, Stephen J. and his wife Britney, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.; daughter Lisa A. and her husband Richard French, of Indiana; grandchildren Theresa, Hannah, Maisie, Starrlyn and Adriana. He was predeceased by a brother Charles.
