Historian and author David Price speaks about his book, “The Road to Assunpink Creek: Liberty’s Desperate Hour and the Ten Crucial Days of the American Revolution,” 1 p.m. Nov. 2, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown.

Price’s book is about the 10-day period in the American Revolutionary War, from Dec. 25, 1776, when General George Washington and his troops crossed the icy Delaware River for a surprise attack on British-allied Hessian forces in Trenton, N.J., to Jan. 3, 1777, and the Battle of Princeton, and including Jan. 2, 1777, and the lesser-known Battle of Assunpink Creek.

Copies of his book will be available for purchase, and the author will sign copies following the presentation.
