The Lehigh Conference of Churches invites the Lehigh Valley community to a Martin Luther King Jr., interfaith prayer breakfast 9 a.m. Jan. 20 at First Presbyterian Church, 3231 Tilghman St., Allentown.
The theme will be “A Case for Reparations from the Faith Perspective” with featured speaker Sheryll Cashin, professor of law, civil rights and social justice at the Georgetown University Law Center.
This event follows a special screening of the feature documentary, “Traces of the Trade: A Story from the Deep North” at 6 p.m. Jan. 19 at the church.
There is a per person fee for breakfast.
