Bruce K. Geary

Bruce K. Geary, 75, of Salisbury Township, died Dec. 10, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Cheryl (Hildebrand) Geary, with whom he shared over 53 years of marriage. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Vincent Geary and Laura (Pussini) Geary Wagner and stepson of Russell Wagner.

He was a 1961 graduate of Lehighton Area High School.

He served in the U.S. Naval Air Force as an aviation electrician during the Vietnam War.

For many years he worked in tool and die manufacturing for General Electric and later Black and Decker.

He was a member of St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Allentown. He was a member of the Lehighton American Legion.

He will be remembered for playing cards with his grandchildren, loving holiday gatherings with his family and watching the Philadelphia Eagles.

He is survived by his wife; daughters, Robin E., wife of the late John E. Belzner, of Allentown; Tricia, and her husband Keith Hnatow, of Bethlehem; five grandchildren, Nathaniel, Brianna and Megan Belzner, Bradley and Bethany Hnatow. He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald and sisters, Nancy Philbin and Pamela Hoats.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Jan. 12, 2019 at St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 E. Juniata St., Allentown. Arrangements were made by the Trexler Funeral Home, Allentown.
