Olive Karabin, 93, of Fountain Hill, died Dec.13, 2018, in her home. Born in Ormord, she was a daughter of the late Wasyl and Mary (Kotyk) Karabin.

She was a seamstress for Cross Country in Egypt and Northampton for 20 years. She operated a custom alterations and draperies business at her Fountain Hill residence for 50 years.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

She is survived by a sister, Patricia Bloszinsky; a brother, Benjamin Karabin; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

She was predeceased by five sisters, Jeanette Drabick, Esther Vengrin, Anna Kalba, Julia Chaputa and Anne Shattuck; and a brother, Alex Karabin.
