Petersville Rod & Gun Club, 550 Club Road, is having a New Year’s Eve party Dec. 31.

Doors open 6:30 p.m. There will be a buffet-style dinner with music starting 7 p.m.

Free beer, soda, signature fountain drinks, hot coffee and tea will be available until 12:30 a.m. Music by DH Productions will be playing all night.

There will also be a Champagne toast at midnight and more.

The event is open to the public.

The music department of Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, is reorganizing, and hundreds of hymnals need new homes. The hymnals are in the upstairs parlor. Take as many as you like.
