Catasauqua Middle School is proud to announce the following holiday chorus concerts set for Dec. 19:

Fifth- and sixth-grade concert, 6:30 p.m.

Seventh- and eighth-grade concert, 7:30 p.m.

The Catasauqua Community Cares Program is collecting items to provide food to students and their families who are struggling or going through a hardship.

The collection drive will run until Dec. 19.

Items needed include applesauce, breakfast bars, canned pasta meals, canned soup, fruit cups, granola bars, hot chocolate, macaroni and cheese, pasta, peanut butter, pudding and spaghetti sauce.

Approximately 150 bags were prepared for students to take home over the Thanksgiving break, and more is needed to prepare for the longer Christmas break.

Any donation is greatly appreciated. Students may place their donation under the Christmas tree in the lobby, or parents may drop it off in the main office.

There will be early dismissal Dec. 21. CMS students will be dismissed 11 a.m.

There will be no lunches served.

Schools will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 2, 2019 for break.

Schools will reopen Jan. 3, 2019.
