LEHIGH VALLEY WEATHER

EASTERN SALISBURY

The Harry S Truman Elementary School PTO holiday shop is in full swing this week to allow students to pick out gifts for the holidays at an affordable price. Prices range from 25 cents to $10 and a shopping list was sent home with students. This is always a great experience for students to pick out their own gifts and PTO volunteers assist and wrap the gifts for them.

The Salisbury High School winter concert will be held 7 p.m. Nov. 29. The concert will feature performances by Give Me Fortissimore, the concert chorus and the concert band. Doors will open to the public 6:45 p.m. There is no charge for the concert and there is a reception immediately following.

The Salisbury Middle School winter concert will be held 7 p.m. Dec. 6. The program will include performances by the chorus, band and jazz band. The concert is held in the middle school cafeteria. This is always an enjoyable event. If you have a chance, I’d encourage you to attend and see the musical ability of our middle school students.

The Franko Farm yard waste drop off site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 8 and 11, the last opportunities for the year. The site will reopen in the spring.

It’s officially the holiday season, so in the words of Charles Schulz, “Christmas is doing a little something extra for someone.”
