The Colonial League recently announced its boys soccer all-star team for the 2018 season and Northwestern Lehigh had three players selected for first-team honors. Northwestern and Saucon Valley were the only teams to have multiple players on the first team as both teams placed three players on the list.

In all, Northwestern had seven players named as league all-stars, placing three players on the second team and one player among those on the honorable mention team.

Defender Luke Taylor and midfielders Caleb Danner and Zach Creighton, all seniors, were honored with first-team selections for the Tigers. Defender Michael Rebert, midfielder Luke Bryan and forward Sam Seyfried were all members of the Colonial League’s Second Team All-Stars. Seyfried is a senior, while Bryan and Rebert are juniors. Sophomore Jeff Garcia was named to the league’s list of honorable mentions as an all-star.

Northwestern went 12-0 in league play to win the Colonial League Championship. The Tigers also reached the semifinals of the District 11 playoffs. Overall, the Tigers went 19-2-1 on the season.
