Beginning Nov. 15 and continuing until Nov. 21, Harry S Truman Elementary School and Western Salisbury Elementary School will dismiss 1 p.m. for parent teacher conferences.

Salisbury Middle School will dismiss 12:15 p.m. Nov. 16 through 21.

All township schools will be closed Nov. 22 through 26 for the Thanksgiving break and will reopen Nov. 27.

The HST PTO-sponsored Holiday Shop will kickoff Nov. 27. Look for more information to come home with your HST student. Students always look forward to shopping for their friends and families on their own.

The Bruce Uhl Basketball Camp will be held 1-4 p.m. Nov. 18 in the Salisbury High School gym. There is a cost which benefits the Salisbury Basketball Booster Club. This event will provide your son or daughter with a day of basketball instruction to assist with individual improvement as well as team concepts through use of drills, games and contests. The SHS boys and girls basketball teams will hold “Falcon Frenzy” 7:30 p.m. Nov. 28. Come out and get excited for the upcoming season with some competitions, introductions and snacks.

Don’t forget to RSVP for the upcoming community breakfast hosted by Salisbury Township and the school district. Breakfast will be served at SHS 9-11 a.m. Dec. 8. There is no cost, but you must RSVP at www.salisburysd.org/breakfast. Breakfast will include scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee and juice.

The Franko Farm Yard Waste dropoff site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 24 and 27.
