Moore Elementary Parent Teacher Association is having a vendor and craft show 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 17.

The event will be held in the all-purpose room at Moore Elementary School, 2835 Mountain View Drive.

Point Phillips Rod & Gun Club, 1035 Smith Gap Road, is hosting its annual turkey dinner 6 p.m. Nov. 17. There will be a bake sale during dinner hours. Proceeds benefit Point Phillips’ children’s events.

The club is having live music from the Jesse Wade Band 8-11 p.m. Nov. 23. The kitchen will be open. There is a cost.

Emmanuel’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, is hosting the Community of Churches Thanksgiving Eve service 7 p.m. Nov. 21.

There will also be an Advent family craft night at Emmanuel’s beginning 6 p.m. Nov. 25. There will be music and crafts.

Reminder: Fall leaf pickups in Moore Township began Nov. 5 and continue for eight weeks depending on conditions.

There will be multiple trips through each neighborhood for the duration of the collection program. Leaf piles must be free of sticks and debris and can be piled at the edge of the roadways. Public works reserves the right to refuse pickup if inappropriate debris is found in the piles.

Private roads do not qualify for leaf pickup. Residents are reminded that they are welcome to bring brush and leaves to the recycling area located to the east side of the public works building, during daylight hours, seven days a week. The public works building is located next to the township building, 2491 Community Drive, Bath.
