CMS News: Early dismissal, conferences continue at CMS

There will be early dismissal today, Nov. 15. Catasauqua Middle School students will be dismissed 12:20 p.m.

Parent-teacher conferences continue 6-8:30 p.m. Nov. 15.

Only parents needing to schedule an evening conference will be contacted. If you don’t receive communication asking for a conference to be held at this time, but you would like to meet with your child’s teachers, you may contact them anytime throughout the year to schedule a meeting during their team time.

The CMS-PTF Spirit Dance will be held 7-9 p.m. Nov. 16.

The Catasauqua Community Cares Program is hosting a craft and vendor show 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Nov. 18 in the CMS gymnasium.

Spirit week is Nov. 19-21. A reminder that all apparel must be dress code appropriate.

Nov. 19: pajama day

Nov. 20: sports day (wear your favorite sports team apparel)

Nov. 21: Catty day (wear brown and white)

There will be a PTF meeting 7-8 p.m. Nov. 20 in the library.

All CMS students will be transported to the high school for the annual Turkey Day pep rally Nov. 21.

There will be an early dismissal this day as well. Students will be dismissed 11:15 a.m.

Schools will be closed Nov. 22-26 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Schools will reopen Nov. 27.

The newest fundraiser for CMS has started. Students are selling Otis Spunkmeyer cookie dough and Tervis tumblers.

Orders are due Nov. 27 and will be delivered in time for Christmas.
