Frank J. Melanson Jr., of Bethlehem, and formerly of Passaic County, NJ, died Oct. 6, 2018, in Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. Born in Warwick Township, Bucks County, he was a son of the late Frank J. Sr. and Frances (Johnson) Melanson. He was the husband of the late Lorraine (Schrouder) Melanson.

He was in the U. S. Army during the occupation of Okinawa.

He was a typesetter for Hawthorne Press for many years before retiring.

He was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church, Wyckoff, N.J.

He is survived by a stepson, John and his wife Connie Fuchs of Bethlehem Township; two stepdaughters, Carol and her husband Frank Chapen of New Jersey and Karen Clark of Wyoming; and three grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
