Students from Patti Greenawalt’s fifth-grade class learned how to be safe at home, school and within their community Oct. 5 at Northwestern Elementary School.
Kindergarten students learned how to dial 911.
They also learned the difficulties of being a firefighter and navigating through a burning house.
Some of them also were instructed on Halloween, farm and social media safety.
