The 36th annual Thanksgiving dinner, dress-up day and food drive will be held Nov. 15 for all grade levels. Students will have their meal cost deducted from their lunch account. Only adults and non-Sheckler students need to prepay for their meal.

If you plan on attending to have lunch with your child this day, your payment is due to your child’s teacher, along with the form that was sent home, by Nov. 9. Checks should be made payable to “Catasauqua cafeteria fund.”

Guests are asked to report to the gym and wait for their child’s class to be called to enter the cafe with them. Please be advised of each grade levels’ designated lunch time on this day. Students must eat lunch at their grades’ time slot and may not be pulled out to have lunch with siblings in other grades who may also attend.

The Thanksgiving Day dinner food drive will also be taking place on the stage. Nonperishable food items and canned goods will be collected during the dinner and will be donated to Catasauqua Community Food Bank to help families in our area.

If you are able to help with this worthy cause, items may be sent in with your student on or before the day of the Thanksgiving dinner.
