On Nov. 3, the Catasauqua Area School District’s music department will hold a fall craft fair, featuring handmade items, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the gym of Catasauqua High School.

Refreshments are sponsored by Catasauqua music arts booster association.

Paperwork is now due from any athlete participating in winter sports for the 2018-19 school year. Paperwork should be handed into the high school athletic office.

Winter sports physicals, which are free, will be taking place Nov. 6 after school.

Catasauqua Community Cares Program (C3P) is facilitating a coats for kids drive to keep Catasauqua Area School District kids warm this winter. Donations of new coats, gloves, hats and scarves, sizes children through adult, can be dropped off at the district office, the main offices of Catasauqua High School, Catasauqua Middle School and Sheckler Elementary School and the Borough of Catasauqua lobby during business hours.

All donations should be placed in a tied plastic bag.

All teachers and students should make sure their iPads are updated to iOS 12.0.1. It’s important to keep the latest iOS since the applications being pushed out to the devices automatically update, and some may not work with an older iOS version.

All iPads should be updated overnight since the update may take up to an hour depending on the current iOS. The iPads need at least a 50-percent charge in order to update.
