The Salisbury Falcon Twirlers will hold their annual Designer Purse Bingo fundraiser Nov. 11 at Salisbury Middle School.
This year’s bingo will feature Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, Vera Bradley purses, Thirty-One bags and a basket raffle. Advance tickets can be pre-ordered by contacting Heather at salisburytwirlingbooster@gmail.com. Tickets can also be purchased at the door. Doors open noon, Bingo starts 1 p.m.
The students at Western Salisbury Elementary School will parade around the front of the school to show their Halloween costumes. Family and friends are invited to join the students and staff on the lawn 2 p.m. If it is raining, the parade will be held in the gym.
Just another quick reminder: Trick-or-Treat night for Salisbury Township is 6-8 p.m. Oct. 26.
It doesn’t seem possible, but the end of the first marking period for Salisbury High School and SMS will be here Oct. 31. Time to check the portal!
Picture retake day for SHS will be Nov. 1. Don’t forget to bring back your first packet of pictures and return them to the photographer.
Harry S Truman Elementary School and WSE will have an early dismissal 1 p.m. Nov. 2. The high school and middle school will dismiss at regular time.
Salisbury Township schools will be closed for a professional development day Nov. 6.
Meetings for the month include a curriculum and technology committee meeting 7 p.m. Oct. 29 at Lehigh Career and Technical Institute, 4500 Education Park Drive, Schnecksville and an operation committee meeting 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at WSE.
Salisbury Township is looking for volunteers to serve on the environmental advisory board. If this sounds like something you are interested in, submit an application via the Salisbury Township website.
The Devonshire drop-off is open Nov. 3 and 6. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
