To the Editor:

We need new leadership in the state House and the choice is clear: Michael Blichar Jr.

Blichar would bring fresh ideas and perspectives to the House of Representatives from the 187th District.

Though he is young, he has already held various leadership positions, serving as a member of Kutztown Borough’s planning commission and a trustee on Kutztown University’s Board of Trustees.

Blichar has bold plans for the 187th District.

A supporter of agriculture, Blichar would make sure the state is doing more to invest in our farming operations.

With federal tariffs taking effect, Blichar will keep a close watch of the industry to make sure Pennsylvania farmers remain productive and profitable with state resources.

Also, as a higher education professional, Blichar understands the need for Pennsylvania to provide education and training opportunities for a growing workforce.

He will make sure we are fairly funding career development programs, without burdening taxpayers.

Blichar also supports property tax elimination.

He will end the unfair system and replace property taxes with a new revenue stream, allowing seniors to stay in their homes.

If you are ready for these policies, and a champion to bring them to Harrisburg, vote Michael Blichar Jr. on Nov. 6.
