Northwestern Lehigh Alumni Association is sponsoring a basket bingo fundraiser Oct. 28 at the Lynnport Fire Company, Behler Street, Lynnport.

Doors open at noon. Food will be available with bingo beginning at 1 p.m.

Bring a canned good for the Christ’s Church at Lowhill Food Pantry.

There also will be a Chinese auction and door prizes.

Wear a costume and receive a free raffle ticket.

High School

The high school band is having a Kauffman’s barbecue chicken fundraiser.

Meal includes half a chicken, baked potato, applesauce and a cookie.

Pickup orders 3-6 p.m. Oct. 22 in the high school parking lot.

Middle School

The book fair will run Oct. 15-19.

Students may purchase Scholastic Books throughout the school day with proceeds going to the library.

There will be evening hours 6-8:30 p.m. Oct. 18 for parents and students.

Northwestern Elementary

Guest author Marty Kelley will be at Family Fun Night 6 p.m. Oct. 11

Second grade students will perform in the evening.

There will be a Partners In Education meeting 6:30 p.m. Oct. 17 in the cafeteria.

Weisenberg Elementary

Kindergarten students will be going on a field trip Oct. 18 to the pumpkin patch.

Third-grade students will walk Oct. 18 to Weisenberg Fire Department Station 51.
