Upper Macungie Township firefighters, police, dignitaries, community members, and Macungie Ambulance Corps personnel attended a service Sept. 11 commemorating 9/11.
The event was held at Good Will Fire Company No. 1, Trexlertown.
On hand were members of all three township fire departments: Good Will, Fogelsville and Upper Macungie Station 56.
State Rep. Gary Day, R-187th, was also there to thank the emergency responders for their duty.
Cetronia Ambulance Corps personnel, who were busy answering emergency calls, were finally able to attend the ceremony before the evening ended.
