Letter to the Editor

To the Editor:

There has never been such a clear distinction between the ideology of the Democrat and Republican political parties that describe the divergent futures each represent for our nation.

In the last few years, Democrat Party leaders have blatantly unmasked their socialist agenda after decades of disguise and deception.

They openly demand unlimited and free abortions, elimination of capitalism, increased confiscation of income and property through taxation, repeal of the rights guaranteed by our founders for self-defense, free speech, public assembly and religious practice.

They defiantly declare sanctuary and free entitlements for anyone in the world who steps across our border, including protection from the rule of law, while demonizing police for enforcing our laws and marginalizing our legal immigrants.

They have replaced the American melting pot with multiculturalism celebrated as a strength, but used to create tribal division, intolerance and resentment.

Democrat leaders support unlimited contrived gender identity and forced acceptance, while traditional marriage and the American family have been ridiculed as bigoted and restrictive, unnecessary in their enlightened culture.

Any discussion of ideas contrary to their thinking is silenced by intimidating jeers of -phobes, -ists, and -isms.

The shameful self-indulgent ’60s has become the culture of the Democrat Party.

Their leaders are the rebellious youth of that era, groomed in the Marxist and Alinsky theories of socialism and defiance.

They are committed to the destruction of an America founded on the principles of Constitutional governance and individual, inalienable rights from our Creator.

To be fair, the Republican side has some of the same actors who pervade the Democrat Party.

The voices of those few establishment Republicans and Trump-haters are amplified by the media when it bolsters the Democrat cause.

Fortunately however, many courageous Republican legislators uphold the principles of limited government, free, but fair trade agreements, national defense and sovereignty, family, religious freedom and the Bill of Rights in their ongoing effort to support and defend our Constitutional republic; principals that appear to be unacceptable to Democrat Party leaders.

The Democrats’ current dilemma, exposure of their true identity, began with Hillary’s (Clinton’s) loss to Donald Trump.

After her failed campaign, which was viewed and run as a coronation, their bitter and vengeful resentment erupted making a mockery of the peaceful transfer of political power; a process which has defined America’s moral character and constitutional governance since its founding.

To be sure, this resistance would have happened if any of the Republicans had won, as when Al Gore lost to George W. Bush.

Ironically, their current uncontrollable hysteria has unintentionally exposed the D.C. underground, the swamp, and the Democrat socialist agenda.

Had Hillary won, none of the hidden agendas and corruption that are being uncovered today would have been exposed.

The shadow government agencies and bureaucrats would still be subverting our rights and well-being through unlegislated regulations, selective enforcement of laws, redistribution of wealth and erasing our national identity.

President Donald Trump may not be the gentleman, the elder statesman or the personal role model we hold up as an inspirational or polished leader but he has come into this office at a time when relentless pursuit of America’s best interests is needed, armed with the temperament to endure unprecedented attacks from a vicious, partisan media and deeply rooted corruption in our government.

The results of his accomplishments have been incredible, swift and beneficial to all American citizens regardless of race or status.

America has reestablished her role as a world leader by strengthening our national defense and boldly confronting international threats to our homeland and our allies.

At home, our economic recovery has spurred confidence and pride in America creating welfare independence with new opportunity for all through reduced taxes, regulation reform and fair global trade agreements that don’t disadvantage American workers.

All of this progress will end if Democrats take back control of Congress. We would be mired in endless investigations, impeachment hearings, and a return to the corrupt, regulated plantation of dependency for the masses and privilege for the few.

November’s election will reveal our nation’s character, and our willingness to preserve our Constitutional Republic and our American way of life.

Do not be distracted by all the hateful noise from constant, orchestrated Trump-hating rhetoric.

Focus on the tangible successes of the last two years that have brought back the American dream.

Thoughtfully and honestly contrast our current direction against the bitter consequences that the dangerous Democrat socialist agenda would bring to our children’s future.
