Fire Prevention Day at Sheckler Elementary will be taking place Oct. 12. Local firefighters will visit with students to help educate them on fire safety.

Remember to get those Box Tops in with your student for the first submission deadline, which is Oct. 12. Then continue to send them in throughout the school year for the next submission.

Box Tops are worth 10 cents each, and when collecting schoolwide, that adds up quickly when working together.

So let’s keep on turning trash into cash for our school!
