From time to time, it is essential students run software updates on their iPads in order for the applications to run smoothly. This process is very easy to do. In order to update your iPad to the most current software settings, go to Settings, General, then Software Update. Download and install the update.

If your iPad is not charged to at least 50 percent, the update will not run unless your iPad is plugged into a charger.

If you are having trouble updating your iPad at home, reach out to Mrs. Campbell in the library.

Register by Sept. 24 for the Don8Zone Color Run fundraiser.

The Color Run itself will be Oct. 7.

The fundraiser and run are a schoolwide event.

Reminder: Football season tickets and all-sports season tickets are now on sale in the Catasauqua High School athletic office weekdays from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Football season tickets are $25; adult all-sports season tickets are $50; student all-sports season tickets are $25; and family all-sports season tickets are $100. Golden Age Rough Rider passes are available for Catasauqua Area School District residents age 62 and older.

These passes allow free admission to all regular-season home games. All season tickets are general admission.

Guest reader day at Sheckler Elementary School is Oct. 19, beginning 2:15 p.m. Any senior student-athlete, National Honor Society member or marching band member may sign up to read to students in a classroom at the elementary school.
