The Northampton tennis and golf teams each had recent victories.

The tennis team beat Dieruff 6-1.

Liz Hozza defeated Vivian Soto at one, 6-0, 6-0. At two, Rose Sharga also won 6-0, 6-0 over Ashley Balbuena while Grace Tepes was a 6-0, 6-0 winner over Destiny Gonzalez.

The girls won three of the four doubles matches with captains Kasey Zelienka and Kaylee Kauffman winning at number-two over Lyn Williams and Lorelei Stuff 6-1, 6-0.

Amelia Cesanek and Avita DeMieri topped Mageline Flores and Dovian Morris 6-2, 6-2 at number three while Kat Beenders and Jayden Fehnel were victorious over Gianna Gonzales and Dayani Rohan 6-1, 6-0 at four.

The golf team defeated Tamaqua behind Andrew Hozza’s 79 at Woodstone.

The Kids won 412-520.

Anthony Sawarynski shot an 80 and Andrew Sawarynski carded an 83.

Both Nate Wheeler and Devon Britton had 85s.
