Donald A. Benner, 91, of Catasauqua, died Aug. 30, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. He was the husband of the late Corinne (Mark) Benner and the late Nancy (Berg) Benner.
Born in Northampton, he was the son of the late Karl and Arlene (Griesmer) Benner.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He was a 1944 graduate of Catasauqua High School.
He was employed by the Fuller Company as a fitter/welder for 37 years before retiring.
He was of the Lutheran faith.
He is survived by six sons, David, William and his wife Lois, Mark and his wife Diane, Gary, Thomas and his wife Brenda and Joseph and his wife Susan; two daughters, Donna and her husband Edward Wagner and Kathleen Ringo; a brother, Richard and his wife Pauline; a sister, Linda and her husband Ron Heist; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a grandson, Mark Six; a sister, Karlene Demerest; and a son-in-law, Thomas Ringo.
