Peggie J. Wechsler, 73, of Coplay, died Aug. 12, 2018. She was the wife of Dolph Wechsler for 47 years.

Born in Farmville, Va., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Hazel (Knox) Lewis.

She worked for 30 years in the hotel hospitality industry as an executive housekeeper. She worked for many locations, including the Holiday Inn Express, Dorneyville.

She was very active with the Coplay Sports Association.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Russ and his wife Amy and Dolph Edward; three grandchildren, Nate, Garrett and Christian; a sister, Ann Andrews; a brother, Bobby Lewis and his wife Carolyn; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Lucille and Lois; and two brothers, Edward (Buddy) and George.

A celebration of her life will be held 1 p.m. Sept. 22 at the community pavilion of Coplay Borough’s Parkway, Second and Keefer streets.
