Frank A. Gombotsh, 86, of Coplay, died Aug. 21, 2018, at VNA Hospice House at St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Betty (Bogarosh) Gombotsh for 44 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Louis and Rose (Gerbavsits) Gombotsh.
He was a technical sergeant in the U.S. Army from 1950 until 1953. He was a Korean War veteran.
He was a truck mechanic for the former Lehigh Valley Dairy for 33 years until he retired in 1979.
He was of Catholic faith.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Michael of Allentown; two stepdaughters, Beverly Gessner of Northampton and Carol Nemeth of Whitehall; a brother, Walter Gombotsh of Mahonoy City; a sister, Rosemarie Mahlon of Allentown; four stepgrandchildren; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; and six stepgreat-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Lewis; a stepson, Joseph Nemeth; a son-in-law, Todd Gessner; and a stepgranddaughter, Amanda.
