Stanley Granville Graver Jr., fabricators plant manager

Stanley Granville Graver Jr., 89, of Bethlehem, died Aug. 9, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital. Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late Stella (Kromer) Graver Henn and the late Stanley G. Graver Sr. He was the husband of the late Janny M. Graver.

He was a World War II veteran and was in the U.S. Navy.

He earned a degree in Civil Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.

He was a plant manager at Bethlehem Fabricators. He was a professional engineer, and was a drafting/surveyor manager with Nicholas Bouras Inc., from which job he retired.

He was a member of Rosemont Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

He was a certified pilot and flew a self-restored Cessna 140. He was a member of the EAA Chapter 70 aviation group and was a past president of the Lehigh Valley Flying Club.

He was survivor by a son, Stanley G. III; daughters, Deborah and her husband Nejat Armay of Topeka, Kan., Dawn and her husband J. Christopher Castel of Reno, Nev., Lynn and her husband Bohdan Zwiryk of Penn Hills and Kim and her husband George Steinberger of Nazareth; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Carol and her husband Steve Hanus of Hellertown; and a nephew, Eric and his wife Julie Hanus.
