Rose Dolores Hilaire, 89, of Fountain Hill, died Aug. 13, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Catherine (Horn) Duhig. She was the wife of the late Vincent J. Hilaire.

She was a graduate of Central Catholic High School. She attended Bethlehem Business School. She earned an associate’s degree from Northampton Community College.

She was a member of the Novitiate for six years at the Visitation Monastery, Wilmington, Delaware.

She was a licensed practical nurse and worked for much of her life at Gracedale Nursing Home.

She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by four sons, Vincent E. and his wife Song Suk of Longmont, Colo., Larry of Greeley, Louis B. and his wife Lisa of New Orleans and Stephen J. and his wife Maureen of Fountain Hill; a daughter, Maria E. and her husband John Masiado of Hellertown; 12 grandchildren, Will and Carol Rufe, Barry and Louis Temple, Sophie, Nicole and Philip Hilaire, Kegan, Elizabeth (Karb) and Patrick Hilaire, Ben Youngerman and Michael Smith; a great-granddaughter, Violet; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Rebecca Hilaire; a brother, James Duhig; and a sister, Louise Litkovich.
