Robert D. Speicher, 80, of Lehigh Township, died on Aug.10, 2018. Born in Egypt, he was a son of the late Harry N. and Marie A. (Ballas) Speicher. He was the husband of Theresa R. Speicher for 53 years.

He was a 1956 graduate of Central Catholic High School.

He was in the U. S. Navy during the cold war.

He worked for Mack Truck Co. for 47 years, from which he retired in 2003.

He was a member of St. Nicholas R. C. Church, Berlinsville - Walnutport

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Robert J. and his wife Regina of New Tripoli, Christina M. and her husband Patrick Lincoln of Palmer; Thomas J. and his wife Elizabeth of Rieglesville and Theresa H. and her husband David Brougher of Wilmington, Del.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two brothers; and one sister.

Arrangements were made by James Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
