Virginia A. Ruch, 79, of Sla- tington, died Aug. 15, 2018, in her daughter’s home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Alton C.H. Algard and of Richard Ruch.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Florence (Foulke) Utsch.

She was a graduate of Parkland High School.

She was a member of Northampton Assembly of God and the facilitator for the church’s Good News Club.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, David A. Algard of Walnutport, Daniel A. and his wife LouAnn Algard of Andreas and Jonathan C. and his wife Denise Algard of Coplay; a daughter, Deborah A. and her husband Joseph Ligato of Sla- tington; two stepsons, Kenneth Ruch and his wife Andrea of Newton, N.J., and Jeffrey Ruch of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Kathleen Bachman of Whitehall and Diane and her husband Radwan Jarrouj of Orefield, 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; six stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-granddaughter; nieces; and nephews.
