Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.

AUG. 1

Criminal mischief in the unit block of West 21st Street was reported. A dining room window was smashed.

AUG. 2

A female shoplifting at Dollar General, 2016 Main St., brought police to these scene.

AUG. 3

Officers checked on the welfare of a male in the 2000 block of Main Street.

AUG. 7

A suspicious person in the 1600 block of Main Street was reported. The department said a male was asking for money and cigarettes.

In the 2000 block of Main Street, a theft from an unlocked, legally parked vehicle occurred. A radio face plate and two cellphone charger cords were taken.

AUG. 8

Members of the department responded to a domestic dispute between a male and female in the unit block of West 21st Street.

A theft from an unlocked, legally parked vehicle in the 1600 block of Canal Street was reported. About $4 in change was taken.

AUG. 9

Officers served a warrant in the 1700 block of Main Street. The department said an officer observed a male with several warrants for his arrest. The male was taken into custody and released to a Northampton County constable.

A reportable accident involving three vehicles occurred in the 1200 block of Main Street.
