JULY 30
In the 300 block of Edward Lane, police sought information regarding a suspicious vehicle.
A hit and run occurred at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.
On 11th Street, a tree was in the roadway. The fire department was also on the scene.
JULY 31
No-parking signs were issued in the 300 block of Mulberry Street.
On Second Street, officers sought vehicle repossession information.
The department received a report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.
AUG. 1
A vehicle was ticketed and towed in the 300 block of Church Street.
A hit and run occurred in the 700 block of Crane Street. A vehicle had minor damage.
At Catty Mart, 521 Front St., police investigated a hit and run.
Officers sought vehicle repossession information in the 700 block of Third Street.
In the 100 block of Front Street, a vehicle was tagged.
A dispute between a husband and wife occurred in the 100 block of Wood Street.
AUG. 2
At Whittier Place Apartments, a report of a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend brought police to the scene.
In the 300 block of Walnut Street, a verbal argument between a husband and wife occurred.
A vehicle was ticketed at Whittier Place Apartments, the department said.
Police investigated a report of a scam letter in the 200 block of Church Street.
Officers and the department’s K-9 assisted North Catasauqua police during a vehicle stop.
AUG. 3
At Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St., a dispute between friends occurred.
A verbal dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend in the 900 block of Race Street took place.
Police investigated a ticket scam in the 900 block of Bridge Court.
In the 300 block of Second Street, a vehicle stop was performed. A plate was seized, the driver cited and the vehicle towed.
AUG. 4
Reports of flooding on Race Street brought police to the area.
A vehicle in a handicap space in the 100 block of Howertown Road was reported. The vehicle was ticketed.
A report of a dog bite in the 600 block of Third Street brought out police. The owner is to be cited, police said.
A coin machine was damaged in the 400 block of Front Street. Police investigated the criminal mischief report.
On Cambridge Place, a key was taken.
AUG. 5
An unwanted person in the 700 block of Fifth Street was reported. Police advised the individual(s) to contact the magistrate.
An adult was reported missing from the 700 block of Railroad Street, the department said.
Salim Shahoud, 55, of Whitehall, was cited for harassment via communication in the 100 block of Front Street.
Officers assisted Whitehall police in the 3700 block of Lehigh Street in the search of a female.
AUG. 6
The department received a request for no-parking signs in the 300 block of American Street.
A hazardous condition in the 200 block of Race Street was reported. Pennsylvania Department of Transportation was notified.
AUG. 7
An animal complaint in the 400 block of Limestone Street was referred to an animal control officer.
A vehicle was keyed in the 400 block of Bridge Street.
Brian Comollo, 38, of Allentown, was arrested on Second Street on charges of criminal mischief/intention to damage and harassment/acts to annoy, according to the department.
Officers attempted to contact an individual in the 200 block of Second Street for Allentown police.
A deceased cat on North 12th Street was reported to police.
AUG. 8
Cable wires down in the roadway were removed from the street in the 200 block of Front Street. The provider was notified.
On Race Street, a reportable accident involving three vehicles occurred.
Officers assisted Lehigh County Children & Youth in the 200 block of Front Street.
A vehicle was tagged in the 100 block of Union Street.
Police sought protection-from-abuse information in the 300 block of Church Street.
Members of the department assisted North Catasauqua police with a mental health issue in the 1000 block of Fifth Street.
