R. Daniel “Dan” Good- in, 77, of Whitehall, died July 24, 2018, at Whitehall Manor. He was the husband of the late Patricia Ann (Maiatico) Goodin for 54 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Leonard F. and Beatrice Leamy Kleinhans Goodin.

He was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School.

He was an optician with the family business, the former L.F. Goodin Optician, Allentown. He retired from Allentown Optical in 2016.

He was a longtime parishioner of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall, where he was a choir member.

He performed with Munopco and Shepherd Hills Dinner Theater.

His remains were donated to Temple University School of Medicine for the advancement of cancer research.

He is survived by a daughter, Denise Rossanese and her son Timothy Goodin of Whitehall; six grandchildren, LeaRose Rossanese and her father Louis, Jocelyn Goodin and her mother Allison, Amber and Kimberly Goodin, Emily and Eliza Bodwell; three great-grandchildren; and a brother, L. Paul Goodin of New Tripoli.
