Philip J. Cyriax, 54, of Whitehall, died unexpectedly July 23, 2018, due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Born in South Amboy, N.J., he was a son of the late Conrad and Muriel (Byrnes) Cyriax.
He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Wilkes University.
He was, for many years, a claims adjuster for multiple insurance companies.
He is survived by two children, Lauren and Tyler Cyriax and their mother, Carol Starrick, all of Whitehall; a brother, Conrad “Dink” and his wife Judy of South Amboy, N.J.; two sisters, Barbara and her husband Geoff D’Agastino of Parlin, N.J., and Susan Raymond of South Amboy, N.J.; nieces; nephews; and extended family.
He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Kyle Raymond; and his former father-in-law, Raymond Starrick.
