Patricia M. Shank- weiler, 61, of North- ampton, died July 22, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Larry Shankweiler for 16 years.

Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence Vreeland and Mary (Gallagher) Vreeland.

She was a veterinary technician for more than 20 years at Stanglein Veterinary Clinic, Northampton, before she retired in 1999. She then went into business with her husband, owning and operating Junkanoo Chicken and Wings, Catasauqua, for several years. She also worked at Lowe’s, Whitehall, in install sales and Old Country Buffet, Whitehall, as a hostess, both for several years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Shawn and wife Jennifer Judd of Northampton; a daughter, Amy Judd of Northampton; a sister, Elizabeth Lavelle of Bath; three brothers, Michael Vreeland of Bethlehem, Gregory Vreeland of Bath and James Dean of Stratford, N.J.; three grandchildren, Colby, Aubrie and Alex; a nephew, Craig; and four nieces; Alyssa, Mikayla, Dena and Kelly.
