Gloria J. Koehler, 73, of Wind Gap, died July 24, 2018, at Hospice House of the VNA at St. Luke’s, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Howard S. Koehler.
Born in Bushkill Center, she was a daughter of the late Edward Detweiler and Anna (Snyder) Mack of Nazareth.
She was a proof reader for the Orange County Register newspaper, Santa Anna, Calif., for five years before she retired in 1995. She also was a part-time nurse’s aide at Walden III care facility and at The Chicken Shack.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, David Kostenbader of Garden Grove, Calif.; two daughters, Karen and her husband Bob Eary of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Sandra and her husband Aaron Moreno of Orange, Calif.; a stepdaughter, Debra Koehler of Nazareth; a sister, Irene and her husband Dennis Rundle of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandon, Ravyn and Kyle; a stepgranddaughter, Charissa and her husband Mike; and a great-granddaughter, Emma.
She was predeceased by a brother, Walter “Skip” Mack; and a sister, Betty Estrada.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were made by Bartholomew-Schisler Funeral Home, 211 E. Center St., Nazareth.
