Jose Alejandro Diaz, 46, of Bethlehem, died July 18, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born in Villalba, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Gregorio and Ana M (Matos) Diaz. He was the husband of Nancy (Colon) Diaz for 18 years.

He will be remembered for his contagious smile and uplifting spirit. A fisherman, he loved to go he also became a “fisher of men” for his church.

He was a member of Koinonia House of Worship, Whitehall.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Jose A. Jr., Jakob and Brianna and Lourdes Vega; 13 siblings, Ana, Maria, Gregorio, Jose Angel, Doris, Carlos, Carmen, Lourdes, Jose Victor, Zulma, Alejandro, Sandra and Brenda; and three grandchildren, Malakai, Ezra and Kyler
