Larry “Hug” W. Snyder Jr., 44, of Catasauqua, died July 16, 2018.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Shirley Snyder and the late Larry W. Snyder Sr.

He owned a contracting business for many years and, most recently, owned and ran a sober living home, Allentown.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Patricia Gulich of Catasauqua; three children, Larry R. of Catasauqua and Aviana and Malachi and their mother, Ria Castronova of Northampton; four nieces, Amanda and her husband Anthony Vazquez of Catasauqua, JoAnne and her husband Michael Kent of Oak Grove, Ky., Jessica Stock and her fiancé Alexander Krause of Catasauqua and Katie Arguilla and her fiancé John Haklar of Catasauqua; an uncle, Richard and his wife Janet Snyder of Alburtis; an aunt, Ruth and her husband Jeffrey Lesko of Northampton; great-nieces; and great-nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandmother, Dorothy Hersh; and an uncle, Wayne Snyder.
