JULY 1
On Second Street, a vehicle was moved at officers’ request when they investigated a parking complaint.
Police assisted an intoxicated male near Revolution Church, Race Street, by transporting him to his residence.
At Silver Manor, 2 Front St., police sought information regarding a missing dog.
A 42-year-old male from Catasauqua was arrested near 610 Front St. for driving under the influence.
JULY 2
In the 500 block of North 14th Street, a truck was ticketed.
At Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St., a report of a person at the door brought police to the area.
A tree fell on a vehicle in the 600 block of Third Street.
A dispute between a mother and son occurred in the 700 block of Limestone Street.
JULY 3
A purse and wallet were stolen on Railroad Street.
In the 200 block of Poplar Street, a vehicle was tagged.
Police sought information regarding a protection-from-abuse case in the 200 block of Wood Street.
On Wood Street, Emerita Claudio, 45, of Catasauqua, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, among other charges.
Police sought information regarding a repossessed vehicle in the 200 block of Front Street.
At Apartments for the Elderly, officers provided information regarding the law on fireworks.
A tree fell in a driveway on Pine Street.
JULY 4
At Catasauqua Park & Playground, 501 American St., individuals were using grills in the park. They were warned of the borough’s ordinance prohibitions.
The pool manager was notified of unhappy pool patrons at Catasauqua Park & Playground.
In the 500 block of Front Street, individuals were warned to quiet down.
Charges were filed against a 20-year-old male, of Catasauqua, for simple assault and physical harassment and contact and a 28-year-old, of Catasauqua, for public drunkenness when police investigated a domestic offense against family report in the 700 block of Third Street.
A theft that occurred in the 700 block of Front Street is under investigation.
Police assisted a citizen retrieving items in the 700 block of Third Street.
A fire that occurred on West Race Street is under investigation.
The department received two requests to assist in obtaining personal property in the 700 block of Third Street.
A parking ticket was issued in the 700 block of Second Street.
JULY 5
A 21-year-old male, of Whitehall, was arrested in the 600 block of Third Street for DUI charges, including general impairment, driving the wrong way on a one-way road, careless driving and having a high rate of alcohol.
On Range Road, police assisted Whitehall officers with a disabled vehicle.
Officers investigated a civil matter in the 600 block of Third Street.
An ongoing issue with another person on Blackberry Street occurred. Police investigated.
At Catty Mart, 547 Front St., police conducted a welfare check. The juvenile was reunited with his or her parents.
JULY 6
Police responded to a report of a reckless driver in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

An investigation is continuing for a theft that occurred in the 600 block of Railroad Street.
In the 700 block of Bath Avenue, a vehicle was tagged.
Officers checked on a resident in the 100 block of Wood Street.
In the 600 block of Third Street, a neighbor issue occurred.
On Race Street, police responded to a reportable motor vehicle accident. Two vehicles were involved.
JULY 8
In the 400 block of Walnut Street, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.
At Apartments for the Elderly, officers investigated a report of missing household items.
A dispute between a mother and son occurred in the 700 block of Limestone Street.
A fence was damaged in the 200 block of Canal Street.
Police investigated a civil issue regarding money in the 100 block of Front Street.
A dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred in the 100 block of Bridge Street. Police responded to the residence twice.
An adult was reported missing from the 900 block of Lenape Circle.
A dispute occurred between a husband and wife in the 200 block of Front Street.
JULY 9
At Catasauqua Highrise, 534 Third St., police conducted an elevator rescue.
A loose dog in the 100 block of Union Street was reunited with its owner.
Officers sought information regarding a lost dog in the 200 block of Edward Lane.
An investigation is continuing regarding a suspicious activity case that occurred in the 700 block of Poplar Street.
In the 100 block of Front Street, a civil matter over money occurred.
On Front Street, a person having an anxiety attack was assisted by police, who provided a courtesy transport.
JULY 10
At 252 Race St., police responded to a report of a dog bite. The case was referred to animal control.
The department received a request for signs for an event at Fossil’s Last Stand, 429 Race St.
A screw in a tire at 623 Howertown Road was reported to police.
In the 100 block of Chapel Street, a vehicle stop was conducted. The plate was seized.
A vehicle was moved in the 200 block of Front Street.
JULY 11
In the 100 block of Second Street, a vehicle stop was conducted. A citation was issued and the tag seized.
Police were asked to conduct a welfare check at 119 Bridge St. The person was located in Whitehall.
Officers investigated a suspicious vehicle in the 900 block of Lenape Circle. The persons were sent out of the area.
Police assisted Whitehall officers in locating an individual on Front Street.
The department received a report of various parking violations in the 200 block of High Street.
No-parking signs were issued in the 400 block of Race Street.
JULY 12
Police sought vehicle repossession information in the 400 block of Walnut Street.
On Second Street, a disabled vehicle was towed by AAA.
A person sleeping in a vehicle at 738 Front St. was reported.
In the 100 block of Second Street, suspicious activity brought police to the area.
An investigation is continuing regarding suspicious activity that occurred at 330 Howertown Road.
JULY 13
No-parking signs were issued in the 400 block of Race Street.
A 19-year-old female, of Allentown, was arrested on DUI charges in the 100 block of Front Street.
In the 100 block of Union Street, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.
Police said a hit and run occurred on School Street. The vehicle and driver were located, and information was exchanged.
A loose dog on Second Street was reunited with its owner.
An animal complaint in the 800 block of Race Street was referred to animal control.
A dispute between a mother and daughter took place in the 100 block of Wood Street.
At Pantry One, 822 Race St., a reckless driver was warned.
In the 100 block of Bridge Street, a building was damaged.

JULY 14
An intoxicated person at the police department, 90 Bridge St., was transported home.
Illegal dumping occurred in the 300 block of Bridge Street.
On Pineapple Street, officers responded to a report of a hit and run. An individual was injured, and a vehicle was towed.
Police investigated an animal complaint in the 400 block of Race Street.
JULY 15
Ira Gordon, 67, of Allentown, was cited for disorderly conduct in the 200 block of Lehigh Street.
In the 100 block of Front Street, a vehicle stop was performed. The plate was seized and the driver cited.
Vehicles were moved in the 400 block of Race Street when police investigated a parking complaint.
