Alfred J. Chaputer, 87, of Coplay, died July 8, 2018.

Born in Meyersville, he was a son of the late John and Catherine (Stefancik) Chaputer.

He was a farmer for all of his life.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton.

He is survived by two nieces, Barbara A. Supp and Carol K. and her husband David Rabenold; a sister-in-law, Janet Chaputer; and cousins.

He was predeceased by a brother, Edward Chaputer; and two sisters, Helen Toth and Marilyn Supp.
