Joseph August Gigler, 90, of Fullerton, died July 1, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. He was the husband of the late Nancy Ann (Shada) Gigler for 54 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank and Anna (Lebezeit) Gigler.

He was an U.S. Army corporal, stationed in Germany, during the Korean conflict.

He was a section manager for the former Western Electric Company for 40 years until he retired in 1988.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton, where he was a former Eucharistic minister.

He is survived by a daughter, Kathleen and her husband Jack Silva; three sons, Michael and his wife Priscilla, James and his wife Dana and Christopher and his wife Christina; seven grandchildren, Steven, Claire, Kevin, Katie, Anthony, Andrew and Jack; and a sister, Helen and her husband Joseph Grieff.

He was predeceased by six siblings, Adolph, Frank and William Gigler, Emma Stopay, Anna Gigler and Margaret Woodring.
