Theresa A. Sommers, 88, of Coplay, died June 25, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late John L. Sommers.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Mary (Unger) Augustine.

She was a seamstress for various factories for many years until she took retirement. She was a member of International Ladies Garment Workers Union.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a daughter, Deborah of Coplay; a sister, Minnie Stangl of Walnutport; two brothers, Stephen of Allentown and Julius of Warminster; three grandchildren, Jennifer Zarayko, J.J. Horvath and Robby and his wife Amy Moyer; and a great-granddaughter and her husband.

She was predeceased by three sisters, Mary Poandl, Bertha Halala and Pauline Trinkle; and two brothers, John and Martin Augustine.
