Walter A. Marinkovits, 79, of Northampton, died June 21, 2018. He was the husband of Joan (DeLucia) Marinkovits for 54 years.
Born in Coplay, he was a son of the late Gustav and Hedwig (Marakovits) Marinkovits.
He graduated from Coplay High School.
He was employed at Stofanak Custom Kitchens, Hechinger and Stanley Vidmar. He was a school bus driver for the Whitehall School District and was a Pennsylvania State Police constable.
He was a member of the Tri-Boro Sportsman Club, Ranger Lake and the Northampton Exchange Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Walter J. Marinkovits; a daughter, Mary Schnoke; and two grandchildren, Tyler and Daniel.
He was predeceased by four sisters, Agnes Drauch, Florence Sommers, Hilda Fruend and Helen Handwerk; and two brothers, John and Edward.
