Kay J. Heaps, 76, of Catasauqua, died June 10, 2018, at her residence. She was the wife of Mitchell D. Heaps.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and the late Ethel L.I. (Abbott) Derr.

She last worked in housekeeping for Valley Manor Nursing and Rehab Center, Coopersburg, for five years before she retired in 1992.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Barbara and her husband William Roxberry of Allentown and Beverly Schellhammer of Montana; a brother, Richard Derr of Coopersburg; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
